Brrrr!

It is unseasonably chilly today, to the point where i have the heater under my desk on! One of the advisers is insisting on having the window wide open which isnt helping :( Not to mention the building work going on right outside the office. The drilling is hurting my head! Bah. I'm not gurmpy, honest. Just ever so slightly agitated. I am beginning to resent being in the office when i could be at home with my Naidel (i hate leaving him in bed in the mornings, sooooo not fair). I'm sure i'll feel better after my holiday. You're bound to feel resentful after your bosses change their mind about giving you a promotion, right? I've been in an 'Admin Meeting' all morning, which is usually 10 minutes of discussing actual work issues, 10 minutes of someone getting openly told off and humiliated, and half an hour of chatting. Today was mostly spent discussing Emma's wedding. Well, i say discussing, she was talking, the others were listening, and Sam and I were rolling our eyes. I'm not bitter, just a bit sick of hearing about it. Its two years away for goodness sake, theres no need to go and buy the dress and bridesmaids dresses straight away! And orange is a VILE colour for bridesmaids dresses. So there. Sorry, she annoys me when shes not planning the wedding of the century, so you can imagine how much she irritates me right now!
In other news, i shall be off on my hols soon with my dearest Naidel :) I'm mostly packed, just a couple of bits and pieces left to get. We're going out with some friends tonight to celebrate my birthday early, which will be nice. I'm quite looking forward to waking up next to my Naidel on my birthday, with the sun shinning through the window and not having to get up :) Also it shall be our 4 year anniversary. It doesnt seem that long ago that we first met! I guess when you think about, we've gone though a lot together over the last four years, and i wouldn't trade him for the world :) After all, no-one else would put up with me :)
