News of the good kind

Well, apparently my suposedly 'secret' news about my job has been leaked to the whole office by an entirely untrustworthy deputy manager. Grrr. Anyways, that does mean i am now allowed to tell the world (or anyone who is foolish enough to listen) my news of gladness. I have been promoted! Yaaaaaay! I am now PA to the Directors (which is a much swisher title than 'Mortgages, Wills and Probate Assistant'). I will be working for Glen and Mark and I get to have a desk in the director's office :) I am hoping i can nab the desk next to the window :) Glen has warned me, however, that this job is conditional - apparently i am not allowed to have droopy shoulders or a scowl on my face, and i have to dress a bit more smartly. Which i am sure i can manage :) Apparently they requested me out of all the admin in the company! How cool am i? :) The office isn't decorated yet, so i don't start my shiny new job until 1st of August when the first floor offices are due to be completed. It's going to be a really big challenge, both Mark and Glen are very busy advisors and tend to want everything done that second, but i think i'm up to it. I am just pleased that all my hard work and extra hours has finally paid off! Who knows, i may be running the department soon!!! Hee hee hee :)
